Lamentations and Loss

Dedicated to Corporal Stephen McGowan, an Army medic known as the Beanie Baby Soldier. Following the
September 11, 2001 attack on the U.S., Corporal McGowan joined the Army and selflessly gave his precious life to serve our country. In honor of Stephen's ultimate sacrifice and the thousands of brave young men and women serving in our armed services, all proceeds of photos sold from this gallery will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Most of these photos were taken at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia over a period of four years. My heartfelt blessings are expressed to all of the families, friends, and service members who mourn the loss of their loved ones; our American heroes.
