The environmental and socio-economic impact of the oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, will manifest for decades. BP's, Cameron's, Haliburton and Transocean's, hubristic deep-sea drilling resulted in the death of eleven people and countless marine life. The uniquely delicate ecosystem of the Gulf Coast states is endangered. The decimation of wildlife, marine life, wetlands, marshes, the commercial fishing industry and the lives of the residents is unconscionable.
